Sometimes the smallest debt comes with the highest price.
Kat went down the rabbit hole and came out changed. Now everyone wants something from her and she is hard pressed to give in to any of them.
Only the irresistibly mysterious Cheshire Cat seems to be on her side. But even he has secrets of his own. Secrets that cause him to show up beaten and bloody on her doorstep.
Dancing around lost friends and determined ex-lovers will be a feat on its own. Doing it and staying sane? Impossible.
Chasing Cats is a twisted modern day Alice in Wonderland with a wicked fae twist and is not suitable for readers under the age of 18. For fans of paranormal romance, action-packed adventure, and devilishly handsome heros!
Check out what happens in THE UNDERGROUND by reading CHASING CATS, an urban fantasy readers are comparing to Patricia Briggs and Marissa Meyer.

After finishing the first book, I wasn't sure if I would read the second (I often don't), but I am glad I did. By the time I started Chasing Cats, I had forgotten the plot, so at first I was confused a few times. Yes, you can read the second novel without reading the first.Kat, short for Katherine, tries to come to grips with discovering that she is a reincarnated fae princess despite being human. Fae are spying on her, and she needs to deal with two men interested in her: Dorian, the unseely prince, and Chess, the half-fae Moderator. There is a strong theme about racism and prejudice, and Kat sided with the hybrids against the pure fae. She starts acting like the leader she is supposed to be. There is more romance in the second novel, and I loved it. We also get to meet both mothers. I swear this was better than eating chocolate chip cookies.
Most of the secondary characters are just as interesting, although I would like to see the Seely queen develop more. I also changed my mind about Alice (as in: Alice in Wonderland). Alice in the first novel made me want to take a shower, but now she invites herself into Kat's home and befriends her. I was quite amused and sympathetic to her.
My one pet peeve was the grammar. I am no english teacher, but I winced every time the tense changed from present to past. Other grammar mistakes were not as egregious and I could relax into the story.
This does not feel like a never-ending plot, so I will buy the third novel.

Chasing Cats The Underground Book 2 edition by Erin Bedford Lee Dignam Mystery Thriller Suspense eBooks Reviews
The fun fantasy continues in this second book in the series. You definitely need to read the first book in the series. But Chasing Cats by Erin Bedford picks right up where things left off with Kat leaving the Underground with Chess and returning home to the human world, her job and her family. Read book 1 first so you know what going on.
While the plot line is as interesting as in her first volume of this series, Erin Bedford's grammar needs some serious editing. I can't get through a single page without rewriting/editing it in my head as I read. Erin, if you're reading this, feel free to reach out with future novels - I'd be happy to edit your draft before it's published.
Another Five Star Read from Erin Bedford!! I really liked...no...loved this book as much as Chasing Rabbits!! I also love Kat's character despite all the confusion and stuff she's dealing with she sticks with her intuition and doesn't let anyone even the Seelie Queen tell her what to do! The story was written well and full of descriptive and colorful imagery and definitely kept my attention all the way!!! I also liked the love triangle going on between Kat, Chess and Dorian. Waiting for the next book in the series - Chasing Princes - with great anticipation!!!
OMG...this book was AMAZEBALLS! Excellent storyline, amazing characters....( very interesting characters, might I add). Again, I hated the original book and movie but this spin on Wonderland ( The Underground) totally does it for me. Between 2 mothers whom both seem to have no love for Kat, 2 ( more like 4) men fighting over her , a maybe new budding friendship with Alice and Fae all over the Underground going missing, there is not one dull moment in this book. Make sure to read book one "Chasing Rabbits" first or you will totally miss out. I NEED book 3 " Chasing Princes" in my life like right now!
This story continues from Chasing Rabbits, so I advise you to read that first. This is a modern re-telling of a book that I fell in love with as a child. I have fallen for these stories now, too. Kat is back home now and the magic continues. This is a wonderful series and a must-read. This story is done so well and keeps you so engrossed you don't want to put it down. It's so fun to see the characters now, how they are developing and what's happening to them and around them. Erin Bedford has such a wonderful imagination and a writing style that you will love. I believe you will thoroughly enjoy this book and I can't wait for the next book.
Wow, second book in the series and there is no let down!! Chasing Cats is so worth the read and another trip down the rabbit hole. Kat, our heroine is stuck between a rock and a hard place. Living her life here in our world, juggling work and her family. Dealing with her life back in "wonderland", her family & friends, the ex, the Cheshire, and the Shadows trying to take over everything. It's a wonder that she can even think, let alone find time for love. On top of all that she has to help Alice out and keep her safe. Things in this book really pick up between her and Cheshire, but I'll let you find out how hot & steamy they get on your own. But there are some shocking turn of events that take place, like fae trying to kill her, the way Cheshire is acting, Dorian not being able to let her go, causes Kat to rethink her feelings! Our little heroes from Chasing Rabbits, Mop and Trip, return always ready to help Kat. Also she must return to "Wonderland" to save her ex, Prince Dorian. For all the juicy details, grabs yourself a copy and get reading.
Chasing Cats was awesome, you watched as Kat started to come into her own. It was very interesting to see how she really feels and reacts to both Chess and Dorian. Also you wonder if Chess loves her or is he using her? Is Dorian really in love with her or just wanting to own her? Exactly what do her mothers, both fae and human, have to do with her? So many questions and so much fun to think about them.
I found myself having a hard time putting the book down to do my day job. I really loved how Kat started to understand her role only to be thrown off balance again and again. So many secrets, so many lies, so many mysteries. Cannot wait to see where this story is going to go from here. It was so much fun to read.
