I loved this book! I went through every emotion there is and just cried at the end. Bianca has so much going on in her life that you just want to get in the book and help her out! I knew nothing about Tourette's Syndrome. When Bianca gets mad at Clay for acting like one of her tics is something she can stop, after he had been so good about her condition, she has him demonstrate - while she tells him what all to do - what she goes through on a daily basis. That helps him (and me) understand tourette's more. This book had Bianca dealing with her dying sister, her mom who left them when they were little, an alcoholic dad, a new job, an abused horse, a co-worker who doesn't like her, a boyfriend/daddy/lover, some age-play, Clay's brothers, Luke and Cody, who also look after her, a great love story and many spankings. I would have liked this book to have had an epilogue with the way it just ended. I have found the sequel to this book (while I was writing this review) and have already purchased it. It looks like it will be as good as this one!!! 5 big stars!!!Product details

Kelly Dawson is a great go-to. The Bianca has Tourettes Syndrome and is dealing with a lot at home too. The jocky and horse racing is a nice change of pace too
OMG it was so beautiful, sweet and cute with just the right amount of naughty, it was so awesome, I loved it and it kept me stuck from start to finish! Can’t wait to get my hands on the new book in this world! ^_^
Many of us have life challenges but probably not as hard as the heroine of this book. Very well written. Very emotional read. I highly recommend - just be prepared to staying up late to finish it!
Excellent story line, being able to overcome a disability & fight for what she wanted, saves a horse & overcome grief & fight the bad guys in the process. Great story.
The blurb about the author includes "New Zealand-based spanking romance author - putting spankings into rural romance!" All here!
What it neglects to mention is the author's intimate - personal - experience with a badly misunderstood chronic medical condition, Tourette's Syndrome. Why is this relevant? For me, it appeals because any book - no matter how escapist - that helps me learn or takes me to a place I'd like to visit - is a better book. Tourette's plays a significant role in this romance.
Plus, as a guy who is not described as tall, dark and handsome (I fail at least one, and perhaps all, of those), I enjoy my pleasure reading with a grain of realism. Heros who resemble people I see around me are more intriguing than chippies. Ditto for the female MCs vs playmates.
I quibble with one of the punishment strappings the hero, Clay, gives the heroine Bianca. Too harsh and done in anger. That said, other than mythical / fictional tops, doms (dommes?) and heads of households (HoHs), don't real people err?

Full of emotions it left me in tears at the end. There is loving discipline,love of a family but mostly three brother. The heroine is a fighter. She is sassy,witty and strong. She has love for a abused horse,they are both broken , love heals them both. Reading this books puts your emotions on a roller coaster. With tears at the end. This book is well worth the money
Now and then you read a story that grabs hold of you and won’t let you go from the beginning to the end. Ms. Dawson has penned a story that is an emotional roller coaster ride and kept the pages turning. Reading this tale made me a voyeur in the lives of Biana, her sister, Annie, their childhood and dreams, along with Clay and his family at the racing stables, and a horse named Rose.
Bianca has a dream and strong determination to make it happen. She has a unique, gifted way of working with horses, and her dream is to become a jockey. When she lands the position working at the stables, she does not disclose that she has Tourette’s because she does not use medication, her belief is that it will not interfere with her job. Now to prove herself to the owners and be allowed to work with the horses is the next challenge.
Clay Lewis is leery but agrees to allow her to continue working when he discovers her Tourette’s, and she proves she can do the job. Then when an abused horse is brought to the stables, and he witnesses that only Bianca can handle her, he gains respect for her determination.
The plot of the story is extremely emotional, with Annie dying of cancer, another Jockey consistently trying to sabotage Bianca, a Daddy Dom/little girl relationship, with Bianca dealing with her Tourette’s and everyday life. The story is so well told that I could feel the emotions, envision the sights and sounds, and felt physical pain with the intensity of what Bianca was experiencing. A broken and abused horse, a bullied and damaged girl, and a dream to be achieved. “The broken-down horse and the messed up rider, with all the odds stacked against them. Could they overcome them? Or were they stupid to even try?”
The story also is a love story between Clay and Biana, as he tries to take care of her, nurture her, and make her feel safe and loved. “Let me take care of you. You’re safe, I promise you. You wanted to be a little kid again, to have someone take care of you, to be claimed and punished. Well, I’m claiming you. I’m taking care of you. I’ll be your daddy; you’ll be my little girl. I will take care of you.” “He was the perfect daddy, she thought—kind, caring, gentle, assertive, and dominant, with just enough softness thrown into the mix.”
