A lovely story and very well written. Loved the characters and really had me captured right to the end. Love this author's books and the period the books are written. All the characters are so believable and drew me in all the way through.
Would definitely read books from Shirley Martin again and recommend this book to anyone x
When given the chance to read this book I grabbed on. What was not to like a romance, shifters, suspense. Yeah, it was all there. However, Ms Martin gives a great spin on the traditional shifter story. It was intriguing and grabbed a hold to not let go until you finished the book.
Give this series a try. You wont be sorry! I look forward to what Ms Martin gives us next.

Plagued with the mysterious deaths of women in the forest, Bryant and the rest of the city sentries are charged with the duty of patrolling the city to kill the wolves thought to be the cause. It is while patrolling that Bryant fires an arrow seeing what he thought to be a wolf, though in reality it was a woman named Annwn.
Aiming to help this poor woman he mistakenly shot, Bryant takes her back to his apartment to fetch a doctor, only to have her disappear. Determined to see that she is okay, as well as caught off guard by the immense feelings he holds for her already, Bryant goes to the hospital in hopes of finding her.
Annwn makes her way back to her home and job at the hospital only to find that Bryant, the man she can't stop thinking about, has managed to track her down. Heartbroken that she must stay away from him, she tries to turn him down. He must never know the truth about her, about what happens to her at night, what she recently learned to be an actual curse. Their love is hopeless, she's meant to be alone forever or so she thought.
Bryant refuses to give up on her, and while misfortune drags them both down, they treed on. Through family death, a curse, loss of jobs and being homeless, these two fight to survive, to find a way to be together.
Shirley Martian brings us a touching romance that goes through hell to be together. The amazing strength this story has is beautiful. I was eager to see what happened next as I read through this heart-wrenching love. I was not unsatisfied in the least. WOLF MAGIC truly shows the magic of love.
Simple idea but not very well done. Will not read this author again.

This was good story..Sometimes hard to understand. It was another time when things were so different and the main characters were very like able. The sadness of the main character was very touching. The plot was ok and it was a short story. It was ok for a free book, I never would have paid for it.
This book was great.I couldn't put it down. Can't wait to read the others.I am starting with a new one.
Very talented writer, her fantasies, historical and paranormal are excellent. She has been writing for many years and it's nice to see her book come out.
